robert goll
hello! i’m robert - a high school student from orange county, california.
some of my interests include: rocketry, data analysis, soccer, and programming. i have loved everything related to rockets for as long as i can remember, and someday i hope to help build the rockets that take humanity to mars and beyond. i am an avid newcastle united supporter, and love interpreting data to better understand how the beautiful game is played. my favorite programming language is python, possibly because it’s what i’m most familiar with, but it’s undeniably useful in many applications.
when i was twelve, i found hack club. in the summer of 2021, i was invited onboard the hacker zephyr, a 10 day cross-country hackathon. this experience changed my life, and since then i have been dedicated to bringing this experience to other students around the world. i ran hack oc with a friend from hack club in may of 2022 in partnership with anduril industries. it became (and still remains) the largest high school hackathon in orange county. i interned for hack club during the summer of 2024 to help make the boreal express possible. check out the mini-doc here
nowadays, i write code & build robots for my school's frc team, as well as developing a guided model rocket. i am actively seeking an internship or a research position, feel free to reach out if you’d like to work together!
